2012 Walk to End Alzheimer’s

| October 11, 2012

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this fun and inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease, the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s helps the Alzheimer’s Association fulfill its vision to create a world without Alzheimer’s disease. It is also a wonderful chance to pay tribute to and honor those who have been touched by Alzheimer’s. And, most importantly, it is an opportunity to be part of the solution to ensure that no one faces Alzheimer’s disease alone.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a community event that joins friends, family and co-workers as they walk to end Alzheimer’s. Participants typically register in teams of 10-12 and fundraise using tools supported by the Alzheimer’s Association.

Join thousands of Walkers from in and around the Tucson area as we Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Location: Reid Park off Country Club and Concert Place.  Registration begins at 7:30, the walk will start at 9am on October 13, 2012.  There are no registration fees for this event however, walkers are encouraged to make a donation and raise money for the cause.
