A Proper British High Tea in Tucson

| March 26, 2012

Tucson OASIS members and fans donned fancy hats and enjoyed a “proper British tea” poolside at Atria Bell Court last week. The event, which was sold-out, will return next year according to organizers.

OASIS is a nonprofit for adults over 50 who want to stay physically active as well as mentally and socially engaged. Members can choose from hundreds of classes and events each year held at various locations around the city. All proceeds from The British Tea and silent auction go for funding OASIS programs that promote successful aging.

The event was held at Atria Bell Gardens, a senior living facility in the restored historic Belin Mansion near Wilmot and Carondelet. Atria Bell Gardens partners with OASIS to offer classes for adults that are open to the public.
