AARP Arizona Asks For Calls to Congress to Protect Social Security and Medicare

| October 11, 2011

AARP is urging their members and the public to call their Congressional representatives on Wednesday and tell them to protect Social Security and Medicare.

Hundreds of AARP members will be in Washington D.C. to personally protest proposed cuts. AARP is opposed to the cuts because the cuts “would dramatically increase health care costss for seniors, threaten our access to doctors, and reduce the benefit checks we rely on to pay our bills.” AARP asks that the public call 1-888-722-8514 on Wednesday, October 12, to be connected to their Congressperson and show support for the AARP members walking the halls of the Capitol.
