| February 28, 2013

Gesture-based controller similar to motion control seen in movie Minority Report

Ever wanted to control your desktop or laptop by waving your fingers in the air? It’s entirely possible with this new device. The device enables you to browse, draw, fly planes, and even chop flying fruit and not touch a thing.

It’s similar in function to the Xbox Kinect – only extremely accurate and fast. And it’s only $80. The Leap Motion device is  due to ship beginning May 13.

This gadget might be the bridge between traditional mouse-based interfaces and touch-screens. It’s available for pre-order now at Best Buy and at Leap Motion.
