Requests for proposals open for December event

The Arizona Summit on Volunteerism and Service-Learning is accepting proposals from presenters for workshops, exhibits, and community showcase projects. This 2-day annual event is the largest to focus solely on volunteerism and service learning in Arizona. Participants include a wide range of volunteer leaders and community organizations. Workshops are about hands-on issues nonprofits face today, including topics like risk management, recruitment and retention, and volunteer trends and span the gamut of community issues.

Proposals are also open for exhibitors and also for organizations with projects they would like to showcase.

The event is scheduled to take place December 5-6, 2014 at the ASU West Campus in Glendale. Proposals information and forms are available online for Workshops, Exhibit Hall, and Community Service Showcase.
