Tomorrow’s Leaders Looking for Internship Opportunities

| September 10, 2013

The U of A’s ATLAS program trains leaders your nonprofit can use

The ATLAS program at the U of A is a  three-level leadership development program that focuses on topics like Event Planning, Organizational Leadership, Social Justice Leadership, and more. Students in the program pick a topic area and develop skills through workshops and application exercises. Those in the top-level Gold tier are available for internships at local community organizations.

ATLAS Program Coordinator Ashley Krogel will be presenting on the program’s potential benefits to local nonprofits on September 18 at the monthly meeting of SAVMA (Southern Arizona Volunteer Management Association). SAVMA is a membership group of volunteer managers from Southern Arizona. The meeting is open to guests. For more information about visiting this meeting, contact SAVMA.
