Tucson OASIS Hosts Centennial Celebration

| January 25, 2012

Tucson OASIS is opening the doors for a free celebration of Arizona’s 100th birthday on February 14 at 1pm. Festivities will include story telling by “honest-to-goodness cowboy” Neale Duncan, a rancher who lives near Tucson and grew up ranching in the Flagstaff area. The Star-Spangled Seniors, a singing troupe of 20, will sing along with Lee Schnebly at the piano, telling corny jokes, classics, and show tunes. The Centennial Celebration will be held at OASIS at the Junior League, 2099 E River Road, just east of Campbell.

Tucson OASIS is a nonprofit that promotes successful aging through classes, active lifestyles, and volunteer service to the community.
