Sponsor Opportunity: Volunteer Appreciation Day Kicks Off National Volunteer Week

| February 28, 2013

A special Thank You! to our latest sponsor, Primavera!

Annual event is a great sponsorship opportunity

Every year the Southern Arizona Volunteer Management Association (SAVMA)  hosts an event to show local volunteers how much the community needs and appreciates them. SAVMA members are volunteer coordinators from area nonprofits as well as corporate and government members working with volunteers.

A heartfelt “Thanks!” is the only paycheck volunteers get

It’s hard to show enough appreciation, especially when it’s the only paycheck you’re handing out. It’s especially difficult for small nonprofits with little-to-no budget for this kind of activity. This year the event returns to Tohono Chul on April 21. Local volunteers from SAVMA member organizations will get free admission, recognition, and be treated to a Native American flute concert to boot.

SAVMA is looking for sponsors who would like to link their organization to the community. This is a great opportunity to promote volunteerism and thank the volunteers who do the heavy lifting we all benefit from.

SAVMA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations to the organization are tax-deductible.
